The Microsoft Zune MP3 player (2G) comes with an 80GB storage and an 3.2 inch LCD. This generation player has improved a lot over the earlier generation and is sure to compete with iPod. The larger screen makes it fun to watch movies clearly than the iPod.

Some of the features that are sure to attract the customers are Good Navigation, excellent FM radio, podcast support for audio and video, sharing and synchronizing data wirelessly and a Zune Marketplace.

However there are some points against this product. It seems the Microsoft Zune does not give you backward compatibility to their own products itself. This is a main drawback. Even the accessories you have bought earlier might not be useful with this new second generation Microsoft Zune.

Microsoft Zune comes with Rechargeable Lithium ion battery. With that battery you can play music for around 20 hours or view pictures and videos for 5 hours. This capacity is more than sufficient for most of the customers.

Priced around $250, it seems to compete well with the iPod.

Product Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
